There are months when the pages seem to close on you. Yesterday's memorization is gone by the morning; today's will not settle. This is not a sign to stop. It is a sign to soften.
Reduce the load, but keep the appointment. Ten minutes with the Book, every day, is worth more than three hours once a week.
Return to what you already know. Confidence in old pages is the ground on which new pages stand.
Ask Allah — not only for hifz, but for the love of hifz. When the love returns, the pages remember you again.
