Children do not remember most of what we say to them. They remember the atmosphere of the home. Let the Quran be part of that atmosphere — not a subject, but a presence.
Recite in front of them, even briefly, every day. They will imitate what they see, long before they understand what they hear.
Do not begin with pressure. Begin with beauty. A short surah, learned together, celebrated when it is finished — this leaves a warmer memory than a page memorised under threat.
And forgive the slow weeks. Childhood is long, and the Book is patient.
